The Insides.

Morning vs. Evening. This shows how long it took me to just take a few photos. ALL DAY.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do with a long stucco entry way? Plants? Year-round halloween decorations? Police tape?
Now I must go watch Ghost Hunters with my husband so I can get super freaked out and run to Lillie's room for our 3am feeding while looking over my shoulder...

It's simply lovely! I bet you feel so blessed! And that entryway does look like a problem.

If it is wide enough a long skinny bench, perhaps a deacon's bench, would be nice. You could put pots of plants on either side changing the flowers to go with the seasons! Isn't is wonderful having a place to call home espeically right before Christmas! Congrats!

Awesome. Maybe those pretty wrought iron decorative thingys you can get at Michael's Jo Anns or Hobby Lobby would look super awesome in the entry. Do you know what things I am talking about?? I LOVE the photo on the top of your blog!

How about hanging plants, hanging lights or sconces?

It's simply lovely Sarah. You must feel like you've died and gone to heaven. Have I ever told you how much I love your blog?

your pictures are deceiving. i know from highly placed sources that your house is usually incredible messy due to little insurgents running around.
pictures are worth a thousand words, those pictures say "LIES!"

lol.

i would put in a moving walkway that only went out, so then people would really have to want to get to your front door....

I don't see any boxes, have you unpacked already...you are super efficient. I would put in a big mirror, this will make the entry seem larger.

Congratulations on the house. Love that back yard. Your babies are wonderful to watch. For that entryway? you could paint a mural on it. or is there some Florida legend that's common. i remember seeing a lot of this flute-playing indian done in metal hanging on the walls as i knocked doors as a missionary in Arizona. (boy that was a super run-on sentence.) In one town in Ohio everyone has a ceramic goose that they dress up, even change outfits with the holidays. i always thought it was a hoot, though i didn't want one on our porch. Well have fun making that house into YOUR home.

It's so open! And inviting and I'm wishing somehow that I could move in down the street. And that light...heaven.

No idea about the entry. That's hard. I'll think about it - ask Lillie though, she is the decorator!

Nice abode. To make the hallway seem less cave-like, paint one wall a different color. It breaks up the lines.

For the hallway- I say some nice sidewalk chalk drawings down the entire stretch- kind of like a long and messy rug.
