Reasons Why I Brave Toys R Us.

Our holiday went like this:

And then a little like this:

Does this make you want to come visit me yet? Because you're totally invited.
On another note,

A kind soul, Cindy, who reads my blog and whom I have never met, sent me this book along with a few others for Christmas. I sat with my girls last night, one under each arm, read this book aloud to them and wept. I cried for the many things this book made me feel as I read through the last few pages. If you don't have this book, get it somehow. It's one of my absolute favorites and it will make you cry, too (unless you have a heart of stone and then, well, good luck with that).

Nice heart of stone. You are nuts, we miss you Smilies. It seems like yesterday we were in the village & you only had one bambino. Merry Christmas from California. Andersons

I once read that book while in the aisles of Target and loved it. I decided right then and there to buy it when I come into some spare money ;-)

Merry Christmas (I know I'm late). Loved the pictures of Lillie opening her gift!! It's precious how she keeps her tongue hanging out between her smooshy little lips! Seriously. Precious.

And, I SOOOO want to visit you! I know we don't know each other...and I'm a real slacker when it comes to commenting on your blog...but, I would seriously want to meet up with you on our Florida vacations! Your new home is amazing. Love the pictures. And, what an amazing Christmas Eve to run thru your sprinklers!!!!! I'm so jealous.

Oh, and I love what you've done with your blog layout. The pictures on the side of the girls and your "about yourself" are great additions! Ok...I'm done. Sorry, I got carried away!

I need to look this book up!

Devin is going to Florida next month for work and I'm just pleading with him to bring us along. Sigh.
