Drumroll please. And a big marching band playing a triumphant song. Because Baby Girl Smylie has finally turned around. Head down. She has assumed the position and is making my life SO very happy right now. No more worrying about her being breech. No more feet kicking where they shouldn't be. Thank you baby girl, for thinking of me and turning in my 39th week (in fact, turning just THIS MORNING before my appointment). Thank you for not waiting 'til next week. I am considering it your gift to me for being your mom and carrying you all of these months. Now.... if only... to go into labor. Every pregnant mother's dream at this point in the pregnancy.

Congrats Sarah! What a relief. See you knew to just let her do her thing. Maybe something you'll be doing her whole life? I can't wait to see pics, a name and a labor story. Yeah!
YAHOO!!
I am so happy for you, congratulations. Looks like you have really good instincts.
This makes me want to write and write about instincts and listening and babies knowing what they're doing. Then I'd start to sound like Ina May and the peeps at The Farm, so I'll spare you. But so glad! Please have her tonight.
Wow. I have heard that the "turning" (even on her own) of the baby is painful, was it for you?
My guess is, you will have her soon... ha ha, seeing how you are almost 40 weeks, pretty good guess, eh?
I am so glad that she turned! You were so smart to just wait it out, I've heard that is really painful when they do it for you. I hope you do well in the next couple days and I wish you good luck. I am so glad for blogs and that we've stayed such good friends! Good luck, my guesses she will be cute and have chubby cheeks and lots of fuzzy black hair! :)
WOOHOO!!! YIPPE! HOORAY! YAY! YAHOO! YES!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!
well done baby smylie. you're such a good girl already you have learnt that even if you want to do something differently sometimes the best way is the same way everybody else did it. but good on you for trying something different.
That's great, Sarah! Sooo close. I can't wait to pull up your blog and see you've had her.
That's the best news Sarah...hope baby smylie isn't quite so stubborn and performs the way she's meant too for her grand appearance. xx
Such great news Sarah! Could you feel her make the big turnaround and you knew before the appointment? Either way, I'm so happy for you guys - she's got to come soon now:)

I knew she'd turn! She'll be here before you know it! Yeah, I can't wait to hold her!~
good girl baby smylie!!
oh happy day!!! be sure to give her extra love, hugs and kisses for being so kind and thoughtful. oh, and a ton of extra praise for being clever enough to know that in this crazy, mixed up, bizzarro world in which we live, sometimes standing on your head is the only way to go!!!
we love you - kiss the girls - love sharry and all.
ps - sorry, i deleted the previous comment 'cause i hit the enter key before i had finished sharing my thoughts.
Wahoo! It's count down. Good luck with all that is to hopefully soon follow... can't wait to hear about it and see pictures!
Oh I can't wait to see pictures!!
I look at your baby counter and think for a minute that it is mine. But I have 32 days to go and you only have 8.

I want to be you RIGHT now!
Glad to hear the baby flipped!

I'm SOOOO happy for you. I was dilated to a 4 at 36 weeks and breech. My Dr. didn't want me to go into labor breech (chord complications etc...) so they took her not long after my 36 week appt. I ALWAYS wonder if I could have refused and waited (even though he made me feel like doing so would risk her life) and maybe she would have turned on her own at the end. SOOO happy for you.
Yay, what a blessing! So happy to hear it. Good Luck, can't wait to see pictures of the new babe and hear your labor story.
Funny how their personalities begin in the womb. We can't wait to see the post about the newest Smylie.
So glad she flipped... count down!
Saaaa Weeeeeet! I can't believe only 6 days left! I would be dying by now. I feel over due if I haven't had the baby 10 days early! I can't wait to see pics...hang in there honey. Good luck with delivery and all that fun stuff. We were just talking about that tonight. I love being pregnant and delivering babies. I truly love it. (EXCEPT for the sore groin muscles, which my DR. blames on age...How RUDE! And the heartburn, but really, those are my only complaints.) The hardest thing for me is the waiting! Funny, I love being pregnant, but I can't wait to have the baby! I'm a whacko!
I'm so glad she turned around for you. Hopefully she will continue to be a good girl and decide to come soon. I can't wait to hear about her and see lots of photos. All the best XOXO
