J.L.H.

Let me proudly introduce my neice, Jade Lyndee Hone. Born October 6, 2010, weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces.

My sister Miriam did fantastic. She surprised me by taking all day, night, and morning to dilate to 5 cm. And within a few minutes of me arriving, dilated to 10 cm and birthed this little thing.

My sister has become a mother, and it is every bit as beautiful as it sounds.

She is the sixth granddaughter born to my parents, and Katie and Gideon just found out yesterday they are expecting a boy in March!

Until then, we will bask reverently in Jade's deliciousness.

Congratulations Miriam and Aaron!

YAY! I am so excited for her. I have been thinking about her since you posted about her being overdue. I am due in a week and can't imagine going longer than that. She's a superhero! (So are you, for going over with Matilda.) Jade is beautiful, you Medley girls have beautiful children!

Beautiful! Of course, I recover from my teary eyes in reading Miriam's blog about sweet Jade and come to yours and here come the tears again! :) Such amazing pictures - I adore the black and white one with the sweet babe looking up at her mom, grasping her finger. So tender. Miriam and her family will cherish these pictures forever.

Sarah the pictures are beautiful. They capture her tiny wonderfull-ness so well! We are lucky to have you and hannah and jared in the family to take so many amazing pictures! Otherwise I'd be stuck with snapshots.
