40 w.

I think we can all agree... there's only so much a body can handle.

Something strange happens to a woman on her due date. She starts to go a little insane. And every subsequent day following her brain begins to unravel. There's nothing she can do but wait. There are no answers for the questions posed to her. A man passing her on the street knows as much about when the baby is coming as she does. It's the truth.

So we wait. And eat ice cream. Really, what else is there to do?

Oh my gosh, I love this picture! Isn't such miracle, it is miraculous to look at this picture and see it on someone else. I don't realize how amazing growing another human is inside you until you see it on someone else. Being pregnant, with the small changes you almost don't notice sometimes. So true about the waiting that's one of the hardest parts. I jinxed myself with Lucy cause I swore I was going early and I never did so it was torture the last month. Beautiful!

I thought for sure she was going to be born on Mother's Day! Ugh. Checking your blog daily for the 'we are on our way' note!

Oh, oh, oh, I feel for you. It seems like this was me, just 2 years ago. All my others had come on their due dates, yet my 3rd was still in me, 3 days after his due date. I thought I was going insane. I cried, then cleaned out the whole garage with my mom, since she was here anyway. I can't wait to see her and know we're all rooting for you!!

Are you kidding me? Are you seriously kidding me? That picture is AWESOME. And a little bit disturbing. Because I know you are disturbed inside yourself. Try to remember that the process does happen to be a "natural" one. Attempt to go with the flow and listen closely.

Try not to spin out of control.
Try not to hold it in.

She whispers on the wind. She will be with you.
