"Happy" Easter

We had a hunt (Grace thought it was an Easter BUNNY hunt, but she realized quickly it was just eggs). You can tell from the photos that I gave up making my girls look at the camera a long time ago. If they actually do look, it's either pure luck or it's me telling them that there's a huge My Little Pony dancing on my head.
Here are some grandkids on the bench above, Grace, Ruby, Simone, Reef, and Oz. Nana got EVERYONE an Easter basket, even the babies!
Today is Monday and we all have the flu. Fever, chills, the shakes, and two little girls who are mad at the world. Pray for my survival.

so sorry to hear you're all sick - it stinks even more when you're pregnant and self-medicating is especially frowned upon.

this may perk you up - amelia, one of the aussie cousins has started a blog - www.ameliaandandre.blogspot.com
see what you started!? i love it!!!

Oh Sara, it's so rough when you are sick right along with everyone. I hope you get some time to rest too, and recover QUICKLY! I'll be praying for you.
Love, Amy B.

By the way, you take the BEST pictures!

sorry to hear that you are sick - sounds like everyone enjoyed Easter. it looks like beards are the fashion item of the season - we are always a season behind :)

i love that your girls are the people that changed reef's world. brought him back down to earth. introduced him to the real world: fighting. ownership. doing really naughty things. laughing. and playing. they introduced him to the little secret somewhat violent world of kids. and it's good to keep those kinds of rude awakenings all in the family.

Now when most people say 'the flu' they really mean 'a cold'. I understand pregnancy can make any affliction seem monumental. I'm glad you had a lovely easter break before you felt too bad.
And it's because they don't always look to the lense that it makes those shots more rewarding and piercing.

I love the pics. I can't believe
how long Ruby's hair as gotten. We are leaving for Utah on Wednesday and I am sad we won't be meeting up for our usual dinner with the girls.

I just realized that I am such a flake! I totally forgot to call you back. I will do it after nap time.

I hope you guys get feeling better. We've been sick all month here.

Are you holding up ok?! The flu is the worst and being pregnant with it? Very, very few things worse than that. I really hope you are feeling better by now.

Regardless, your girls are ALWAYS darling and I always come checkin your blog for some cute new photos of them.

I'm reading this a few days late hoping your sick-bug is long gone.

And laughing at the idea of a My Little Pony dancing on your head.
