Tragic

My dear friend passed away yesterday. I am shocked, stunned and saddened. She was lethally shot yesterday in our church parking lot in Lehi, Utah. I don't live in Utah anymore, so I talked to most ward members over the phone... very sad and tragic for all of us. She was a great friend and a very very special girl. She was killed on her 30th birthday by her estranged (crazy psycho) husband. Jake worked with the husband and is very shocked as well. So so sad. She leaves behind two little boys, ages 18 months and 4 years.

I set up a memorial blog for her:

Click on the site and there are some news report links on the left hand side.

Count your blessings.

I too want to tell you I am sorry. So tragic indeed. I have lost a few friends early in their lives and it really does break your heart for those left behind, especially the children who need their moms. You're a good and caring friend Sarah.

You don't know me, but I occasionally check your blog. You have superb photos and I really like your posts. You crack me up! Most importantly, I did not know your friend, but her story broke my heart. I truly felt as if she is finally at peace, and that her boys will be stronger for this trial. I love your tenderness towards her and that lovely memorial you did for her. She is certainly polishing your seat next to her in heaven. If we all could be so lucky to have a friend like you. God bless you and your friends family.

Wow that is so crazy and so unbelievably tragic. I can't imagine how hard life will be for those two little boys. A mother that is gone and a father that will be in prison the rest of his life. I am so sorry for your loss.
